About DeciDesk

Meetings should lead to action.

DeciDesk was built because too many good decisions never go anywhere. Context gets lost, ownership is unclear, and follow up disappears into chat.

Why we build DeciDesk

The meeting is not the problem. The follow up is.

Teams spend hours discussing. Then someone has to remember who was responsible for what. Action items end up in a chat message that gets buried, a notes doc nobody revisits, or just in someone's head.

Meanwhile, meetings, email and chat fill an ever larger share of the working week. Agreements with visible progress get done. Agreements that are not written down anywhere evaporate.

What we believe

Three ideas behind everything we build.

DeciDesk is opinionated about how teams should work. These ideas guide every decision we make.

Clarity beats noise

Most teams don't lack input. They lack clarity.

That is why DeciDesk captures a summary of every meeting with the decisions and the actions, so everyone leaves with the same picture of what was agreed.

Ownership is everything

If everyone is responsible, no one is responsible.

Every action in DeciDesk has exactly one owner. Not a team, not a department. One person with a visible deadline and a clear path to done.

Execution over meeting

The best meeting is worthless if nothing happens.

DeciDesk is designed around the moment after the conversation, when someone needs to act. The structure of every meeting pushes toward a concrete outcome.

How we work

Practical over perfect.

We use DeciDesk to build DeciDesk. Our own product decisions, feature meetings, and priority calls all run through the same meetings our customers use.

That means we move fast, stay direct, and cut anything that does not make teams more effective. If it creates overhead without clarity, it does not ship.

  • We ship what we use ourselves
  • Feedback goes directly into open decision flows
  • No roadmap theatre, priorities are visible and owned
  • Support is answered by the person who builds the product

Built for follow up

Every meeting produces a summary with the decisions. Actions get one owner and a deadline, open agenda items carry over to the next meeting, and the morning email shows what needs attention today.

AI as a collaborator

We use AI to reduce noise: summaries, suggestions, and digests that save time without replacing judgment.

Shipping over planning

We bias toward working software. If something helps teams actually follow through on agreements, it ships.
